Meet My Counterpart

After being back in the U.S. for a little over a month, there are so many people back in Indonesia that I am missing! One of them being Ms. Evy. Ms. Evy was one of my counterparts. My counterparts consist of four amazing English teachers that teach at the school I was placed at. Ms. Evy was the only counterpart I was teaching with during my first semester at school (January-March 2020). We taught 10 different 11th grade English classes each week together. Ms. Evy was my best friend at site and it was heartbreaking having to say goodbye to her. During our short time together, we were able to learn so much from each other and make so many fun memories that I will cherish forever. Ms. Evy is an extraordinary teacher, mother, and person that I aspire to be like. Since she became such a big part of my life, I wanted my family and friends to learn a little about her. Hence this blog post. I told Ms. Evy about my blog post idea and she was happy to help me. Here's a little interview we did so that you have a better idea about the amazing woman I was lucky enough to teach with.
